YÜNSA racing to the top in worsted wool fabric production continues to grow!

YÜNSA, the largest worsted wool fabric producer of Europe and Turkey increased its sales in the first quarter of 2013 by 9%!

Bringing technology & design and its fabrics together, YÜNSA, one of the leading fabric producers of the fashion world increased its revenue from 67.3 million TL to 72.4 million TL in the first quarter of 2013, compared to the previous year. Thus, YÜNSA raising its revenue by 8% compared to the first quarter of 2012 got off a running start in 2013.

YÜNSA which runs its business with a vision of the world leadership as a Turkish brand wholly owned by domestic capital sold 3,676 thousand meters of fabric in the first quarter of 2013. Achieving 9% growth in fabric sales compared to the first quarter of the previous year, YÜNSA continues to grow successfully especially in ladies wear and A+ segments.

Cem Çelikoğlu, General Manager of YÜNSA emphasized that they are the leading fabric producer in Turkey and Europe and said:”As YÜNSA family, we run our whole business with a vision of being the world leader by focusing on sustainable and profitable growth. We raised our revenue from 67.3 million TL to 72.4 million TL corresponding to an increase by 8 percent compared to the first quarter of 2012. Çelikoğlu continued his speech: “2013 will be the year of our efficiency. We believe that we will make difference with TPM (Total Productive Management) Project which we initiated in the middle of 2012. Through this project, we make all of our processes more efficient. Our goal is increasing the production by 10% without making any additional investments and saving a cost of 5 million TL at the end of 2013. We believe that we will achieve this goal with the support of all our employees.”
